Google. A very important change for phones Android announced a few weeks ago for Europe, and implicitly Romania, is now imposed by the American company. More precisely, I told you a few weeks ago that Google is obliged by the European Commission to display a warning message for Android in Europe to allow people to choose their browser for surfing the Internet.

As we knew from the information previously provided by the American company, Android users will be able to use Google Play to choose the browser for browsing the Internet, and now we see how everything looks. You can see in the image below what the interface will look like through which people will be able to choose which browser they want to use in Android for internet browsing, Google Chrome being of course among the options displayed on phones by the company.

Google. As you can see, Google Chrome is displayed as pre-installed in the operating system, and most likely it is also the default browser for users, but there are other options. Those from Google say that the options for alternative browsers are displayed in Google Play depending on the popularity of the applications in the area where the Android alert is displayed, but each application must be installed separately by users to be able to use it on phones.
Google. Apart from these changes, Android users will also have the option of choosing Google Chrome to use a different search engine than that of the American company. This change will be possible through a new alert introduced by Google in Chrome when the browser is first opened in Android, so people will have more options in terms of accessing information, but probably few will choose not to use Google services .
Google. The changes made for Android will take effect in the following weeks, meaning that both users in Romania and those in other areas of Europe will see the above messages in Google Play.
