Google finally launched today an extremely important change expected by a lot of people for about a year, and it's good to know what it's doing. More precisely, those from Google have finally implemented a function in the online platform that allows selecting the automatic deletion of the entire Internet browsing history, as well as of the locations visited.
Google announced in May that it will implement this function expected by many people, and now it is offered to iOS and Android users all over the world. All data will be kept for 3 months in Google's servers, after which they will be deleted automatically if the function is activated, they are now automatically deleted in 18 months.
Google apply the same settings both for the Internet browsing history and for the locations visited using Google Maps or other applications offered by it. Those from Google were kind of forced to implement this functionality after many complaints from users, and we can only be happy that it is finally available.
