The Romanian city that wants to BAN 5G networks, here's WHY

The mayor of a city in Romania declared that he wants to ban 5G networks in the locality based on reasons that raise many question marks.

Romanian city bans 5G networks

The mayor of a city in Romania wants to ban it 5G networks in the locality because it is feared that the antennas that will be used in the network infrastructure may seriously affect the health of the citizens around them. The mayor of the city of Resita says, first of all, that 4G technology can offer everything that 4G technology offers, in principle, which is totally false, and is the first proof of the fact that he does not know what he is talking about, and was ill-informed.

The second proof of the lack of information lies in the statement according to which the city of Brussels has banned 5G networks, which is again completely false, but this is because the press presented the information incorrectly. The Minister of Communications from Belgium said that studies are being done to see what impact 5G networks have on citizens' health, and if by the summer there is no certainty that there are no risks, it is possible that 5G networks will not become active in Brussels.

The Romanian city that wants to BAN 5G networks, here's WHY

The situation in Resita is also based on a very broad campaign to promote the alleged negative effects that 5G networks would have on people's health, with dead birds in some test areas, and other miracles. Much of this information is fake news, without any real basis, just propaganda made without any clear purpose, but only to panic the population, as happened with the 3G or 4G networks, if you remember.

"In principle, everything that can be done with 5G can also be done with 4G. There is not a big difference, except that the 5G antennas are placed at distances of 200 meters, one from another. We are now studying very carefully what is happening in the West. 5G was banned in Brussels, for example, the city of Brussels made a decision in this regard. And in Germany there are quite heated discussions on this topic. It is about the fact that the effects of these radiations are beginning to be highlighted more and more seriously by scientific analyses. And then, I don't see what sense it makes to expose the population of a city to something like that, just because of the desire to have higher speed on the Internet, in any place, at any time."

Some of you more than likely remember the fact that more than a decade ago there were similar fears about telephone towers located on city blocks, and yet they were passed over. The same thing will happen with 5G, because there is a lot of money in the middle, and anyway, no one can stop technological developments, no matter how many articles about dead birds he has read on dubious websites.

The mayor of Resita says now that he doesn't really want 5G, but in a few months things will probably be different, after the mobile phone operators will want to have the infrastructure there as well, which cannot be said now.
