Instagram will HIDE all LIKES of Your Posts Soon

Instagram announced a few months ago that it will implement a very controversial change for the platform, taking the decision to hide the likes of posts. Instagram started testing this change in Canada, where people see that the posts have likes, but not how many, and it seems that the change is auspicious.

Things went so well in Canada for Instagram after implementing this change that the company expanded the change to other countries. Instagram users from Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan, and New Zealand will have hidden likes on posts starting these days.

Those who publish posts on Instagram will be able to see the number of likes of their own posts, but not of posts made by other people. The change was explained by Instagram as an attempt to "encourage" people to focus on the quality of posts and not on the number of likes.

Instagram gives a very big blow to those who make money through the platform, and this is because the large number of likes was a reason for praise and attraction. Now the world will no longer know how popular certain posts of certain people are on Instagram, and despite the criticism of many, the change will be imposed at a global level.
