More precisely, those at Google are aware of a big problem with spam that Google Calendar has, it being the source of malware infections for phones and computers, but that should change soon enough.
Google knows that many Gmail users receive spam in the form of unsolicited invitations for Google Calendar, and many people have repeatedly accused it of not blocking the dangerous phenomenon.
