Google Maps. Taking everyone by surprise, the Google company has implemented in its navigation application a function that no one has thought of until now. Although this function is offered in various other applications of the Google company, here it is now including in Google Maps, and it allows users to become anonymous, including regarding the use of this platform, and some people will definitely need it.

Google Maps. Incognito Mode is finally coming to an end in applications for guided navigation, the Google company starting to test the new functionality with some of its users since last weeks. In the beta version of the Google Maps application that was sent to these people, this function was integrated, and the activation of Incognito Mode allows people to search for locations, and be guided to them, without anyone knowing what is happening.

Google Maps. You can see in the image above how simple it is to activate this Incognito Mode in the application for phones, it being currently tested only for those with Android. After activating Incognito Mode in Google Maps, the entire interface will become gray, as it happens in Google Chrome, or YouTube, so you will know that any kind of searches you do within the platform will not be saved in your history.

Google Maps. This function was promised by Google sometime around May, during Google I/O, but it took some time for it to be offered at least for beta testing. From this point it is not known how long it will take for the Google Maps function to be officially launched, but it will certainly not be available until it is 100% ready for launch.
