Android has a very serious problem recognized by the Google company, affecting a variety of Samsung, Huawei, Pixel, Xiaomi phones, and unfortunately we are talking about many affected users. Engineers from Google Project Zero, the Google team that discovers vulnerabilities for various operating systems, discovered this Android problem and notified the whole world to be able to protect itself.
Android had this vulnerability unknown to Google when its engineers discovered it, and according to its engineers, it was already being exploited by hackers when it was detected. Android can be fully rooted by hackers through this method, and this makes it very dangerous because they can completely control the phones that have been exploited. The first method by which Android can be exploited involves tricking the user into installing a malicious application on his phone, this method being commonly used in various attacks carried out by hackers for various platforms.
“There is evidence that the vulnerability is being actively exploited, either by exploiter developer NSO Group or by one of its customers. Exploits require little or no customization to fully root vulnerable phones. The vulnerability can be exploited in two ways: (1) when a target installs a trusted application, or (2) for online attacks, by combining the exploit with a second exploit that targets a vulnerability in the code that the Chrome browser uses to play content."
Android can be exploited quite easily even through malicious websites, but apparently only the Google Chrome browser is vulnerable and easy to exploit by hackers. Those at Google are aware of the problem, and it would seem that in Android 10 it would have been solved, so only the phones with the previous version are affected, so all except the Pixel ones sold by the Google company.
Android can be exploited through these methods on Samsung GALAXY S7/S8/S9, Huawei P20, Google Pixel 1/2, and other models from Oppo, Xiaomi, or even LG, so users must know about the problems.
