BAD news for Samsung Phones, what a DECISION was Made

Samsung phones are the most sold globally, year after year, year after year, and that should make the Korean company somewhat responsible, but unfortunately it seems that this is not happening for it. More precisely, although many of the customers with Samsung phones launched in 2017 were hoping to receive an update to install Android 10, it seems that this will not happen, unfortunately.

We are talking about Samsung phones that were launched on the market two and a half years ago, or even less time ago, and for them Android updates stop at version 9, launched in August 2018 by Google. Samsung cuts support for phones that are not even 3 years old, and this shows how big the problem is in the Android world, where customers do not have the same benefits as in the case of iOS.

BAD news for Samsung Phones, what a DECISION was Made

If Apple offers updates for iPhones as old as 4 years, in the case of Samsung phones it seems that the updates stop after 2 years, or at least that seems to be the situation at the moment based on the information available now. This strategy of those from Samsung is a very clear sign that its phones are designed to work for only two years, and after that customers should find alternatives.

In the case of the iPhone, Apple no longer even limits the performance for its customers, without taking into account that they no longer want to offer updates, so that users of iPhone 6S phones, released in 2015, can still install iOS 13, released in 2019. Of course, the performance is not as good as 4 years ago for those phones, considering the outdated hardware, but customers at least have the opportunity to update, which is not the case with Samsung phones.

It's a shame that Samsung phones have this limitation regarding the updates that are offered to them, but with the number of phone models the Koreans release annually, it was expected that something like this would happen in the end.
