More precisely, those from Huawei have announced that they do not want to give up Android in terms of the phones and tablets they sell worldwide, preferring to use Harmony OS in other products they will launch worldwide.
Huawei is sticking with Android for phones and tablets, and this is an extremely good choice, because it shows the desire to continue collaborating with Google to use the operating system in products. Of course, this is a very big risk for Huawei, because it is not known if the US will decide to lift the sanctions it imposed, or if it will be able to offer the applications and services of Google in its future products.

Huawei is waiting to see if the US government will allow Google to resume commercial relations with them, with Microsoft already receiving approval from the commerce department, along with several dozen other companies. Unfortunately, for now it is not known whether such a permission will be offered to Google too soon, but those from Huawei continue to hope, trying to convince some companies to leave the US in order to collaborate with them.
Huawei remains aware of the fact that without Google's applications and services it will not have the same global success in phone and tablet sales, but everything depends on what Donald Trump wants.
