Apple is SECRETLY preparing a very HARD HIT for Samsung

Apple is secretly preparing to give a very hard blow to Samsung, here's what change it wants to make for iPhones starting in 2020.

Apple hit Samsung

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing a very hard blow for those from Samsung in 2020, and this in the conditions that the Koreans lost some serious money in 2019 after the sales of iPhone phones did not rise to the level of expectations.

For 2020, things will be about the same for Samsung, but not because of the reduced sales of the iPhone, but because of the fact that Apple wants to introduce BOE as a supplier of OLED screens for its future phones in 2020 and 2021.

BOE is a Chinese company that Huawei uses to buy screens for its mobile phones, and those from Apple have been trying for several years to start a collaboration with them, 2020 being the "lucky" year.

Apple asks those from BOE to make OLED screens in certain quantities, but also to certain standards, as it happens in the case of those from Samsung, and as this is not easy to achieve, the partnership has been somewhat postponed.

"BOE's biggest challenge for Samsung may be in orders from Apple. Once the yield reaches Apple's requirements, BOE will enter the list of suppliers starting in 2020. South Korean analysts even predict that in 2021, BOE will deliver 45 million OLED panels for the iPhone and LGD at 26 million. Of course, Samsung will still retain the bulk of iPhone orders, but the order of magnitude has dropped from 230 million last year to 150 million.”

Now it seems that BOE has made the necessary investments to produce future OLED screens for those from Apple to the standards required by the Americans, and this is very bad news for those from Samsung, who will have to lose.

Samsung would have produced this year for Apple about 230 million screens, not all of them OLED, and starting with 2020 the number will decrease significantly, so that in 2021 it will reach 150 million, so somewhere a little over 60%.

BOE will not be the only company that will receive orders for OLED screens from Apple, and this is because LG Display will also receive part of the orders for the screens of future Apple phone models.

After years and years in which the Apple company tried unsuccessfully to get rid of its dependence on Samsung, from which it now exclusively buys OLED screens, and in large quantities, here it is finally getting what it wants .
