WhatsApp is going to implement support for a new feature in iOS 13 called "Low data Mode", and as the name suggests, the goal is to reduce regular data traffic. iOS 13 natively offers the function for all native applications, right from activation, but third-party applications, such as WhatsApp, must implement separate support for the function to really be used in people's daily use.
WhatsApp: New IMPORTANT Change Made in Phones
WhatsApp has already implemented this function in one of the current beta versions, and its goal is to further reduce the data consumption that phones make during regular use of the platform. WhatsApp also has a similar function implemented by the manufacturing company, but what Apple offers natively in iOS 13 is even better, so even more people will be able to take advantage of the system, automatically, if it is activated from the phone's settings.
WhatsApp is currently testing the implementation of the APIs for this function, and based on the results of these tests, the decision will be made regarding the release of the new function in the final version for everyone. Since WhatsApp is already testing the feature, it is expected that it will be officially offered sometime in the next few months, but of course, for now no one knows very clearly when this would happen.
WhatsApp also implements various other functions for the iPhone based on the APIs that Apple implemented in iOS 13, so we will see more changes in the next period for us.
