ING Bank: ATTENTION! IMPORTANT message for Romanian customers

ING Bank issued a very important warning message for Romanian customers, just like BCR, the two banks being in an unusual situation.

ING Bank published just about 2 hours ago a very important message for clients in Romania, and this is because of a problem that has arisen regarding their transactions. Those from ING Bank explain below the situation that was reported to them by customers, and which seems to have been confirmed by the bank, and again we are talking about duplicate transactions, what has happened in the past, and what it takes brought the bank a fine from the authorities.

ING Bank says that some of the card transactions made by customers at the POS, or ATM, on 30.01.2020, could appear duplicated in their accounts, unfortunately. ING Bank claims that it received the list of payments with erroneous data from one of the partner banks whose systems were used to process these payments for Romanians, so the situation does not seem to be based on any problem with its systems, but with the of the third bank.

ING Bank it doesn't say which bank it is about, however, those from BCR have published a similar message in which of course they blame those from ING, so the situation itself is laughable.
