DACIA Duster, the very popular SUV model that the Romanian manufacturer currently sells in Europe and many other areas of the world, is expected by many people in an electric version as well. The expectations started after the first images of a DACIA Duster appeared on the Internet about a year ago, but unfortunately the bad news is that such a model will not be launched by Dacia very soon.
DACIA Duster it will not reach the market in an electric version too soon, and this is because at the moment the company is focused on the launch of a DACIA Urban City Car, i.e. an electric DACIA. This version of the car from Dacia will be a combination between a Sandero and a Logan, it will resemble the Renault K-ZE, but in no way the DACIA Duster, so all those who had very high expectations from such a model will be disappointed

DACIA Duster it will be launched in a hybrid version, i.e. a combination between an internal combustion model that also has an electric motor, but the electric version is still extremely far from launch. It is hard to say if a 100% electric version of the DACIA Duster will ever be launched, and this is because the price of such a car will not be as low as the one expected by customers who normally buy cars from Dacia.
DACIA Duster recently launched a new model that has a dual engine, on LPG and gasoline, but a plug-in hybrid version could also make its appearance sometime in 2020, at least in a presentation. It is very possible that this plug-in hybrid version of the DACIA Duster will be launched in the final version in the first part of 2021, but for now nothing has been announced by the company, so it remains to be seen what else we will find out officially.
DACIA Duster remains one of the best-selling SUVs globally thanks to the very low price, but an electric version could even cost over 20.000 euros.
