Apple announced this evening the annual WWDC event, the one in which it will present iOS 14, new versions of macOS, watchOS, and other interesting news, but this is done with a very big change, it will take place exclusively online.

Apple complies with the recommendations of the US authorities, who requested that events with hundreds, or thousands, of people be cancelled, so that WWDC 2020 is canceled in the physical format, just like many other conferences, and will only take place online.

Apple would have gathered somewhere around 5000 application developers, plus hundreds of other employees, in its event, and because this would have represented a danger to everyone's health, WWDC 2020 will take place exclusively online.

There won't be a big difference for us, those from Romania, because we were following everything online anyway, but the developers will no longer have the opportunity to interact with Apple employees to find out how to make their applications better.

“We're delivering WWDC 2020 this June in an innovative way to millions of developers around the world, bringing the entire developer community together with a new experience. The current health situation has necessitated the creation of a new WWDC 2020 format that offers a full program with an online keynote and sessions, providing an excellent learning experience for our entire developer community, around the world. We will share all the details in the coming weeks. "
