The coronavirus requires the transport of patients in a way that does not allow the infection of the people around them in any way, so the ambulances use isolettes to transport the infected people, they prevent any kind of air from the inside, possibly infected with the virus, to go outside.
Romania does not have many isolettes available at the moment, and in order to solve this problem, the people from MAPN announced that an isolette was designed and produced in our country, for now in the form of a prototype, but it has been certified, and will be manufactured in our country.

The scientific researchers from the Scientific Research Center for CBRN Defense and Ecology within the Military Technology and Technology Research Agency (ACTTM) have achieved, in record time, an Evacuation System for personnel contaminated with biological agents - BIOEVAC (isolate type) .
The equipment ensures the temporary isolation and safe transport of personnel suspected or confirmed to be contaminated with biological agents, including SARS-CoV-2, and is equipped with a negative pressure filter-ventilation system. The product developed by military researchers meets the security standards to prevent the risks of contamination in the isolation area and on the transport route of the infected person.
The prototype was completed on March 16, being made in collaboration with the economic operator STIMPEX SA, specialized in the production of CBRN protection equipment, which made available to the research team, free of charge, materials, raw materials and labor, having based on the research project carried out within MApN.
The product was tested and approved, between March 18 and 19, by specialists from the Armaments Department and scientific researchers from the Center for Scientific Research for CBRN Defense and Ecology and ACTTM.
The necessary conditions were thus created for the start of the production process, in the shortest possible time, of this 100% Romanian design isolette in the country, by STIMPEX SA, in collaboration with CN ROMARM SA."
