Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured March 29

The time has come again when the authorities in Romania announce the figures regarding the new cases of infection with the Coronavirus in our country, and according to the data provided just a few minutes ago, so far 1760 people have been infected with the rapidly spreading virus.

Of course, there were also new cures (169 on March 29) among those who have been infected so far, but also a series of new deaths, as the Coronavirus is starting to be an increasingly big problem for the country ours, so we have to be very careful and protect ourselves.

The number of new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus has increased today by 308 compared to yesterday, this being the highest number so far, and next week it will most likely exceed 2000 cases registered in the country.

Unfortunately, 38 of those already infected with the new Coronavirus are in intensive care, of which 31 are in a serious condition, the number of those hospitalized at this stage being constantly increasing, as of course the authorities had announced to us for some time.

"Until today, March 29, on the territory of Romania, 1.760 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the 1.760 people confirmed positive, 169 were declared cured and discharged (55 in Timișoara, 79 in Bucharest, 17 in Iași, 7 in Craiova, 9 in Constanța and 2 in Cluj).

At the same time, so far 38 people diagnosed with infection with COVID-19, admitted to hospitals in Craiova, Bucharest, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timișoara, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța and Ialomița, have died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 308 new cases of illness have been registered.

The newly confirmed patients are between 0 and 89 years old.

At the moment, 38 patients are admitted to the ATI, of which 31 are in serious condition. The health status of the other patients is good, stable.

On the territory of Romania, there are 8.666 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 132.641 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.

Until this date, at the national level, 21.460 tests have been processed, of which 1.400 in private medical units.

In the last 24 hours, 1.018 calls were made to the single emergency number 112 and 4.118 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

Until now, 229 criminal files have been drawn up by the authorized structures of the MAI, under the aspect of committing the crime of thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 para. 1 Criminal Code.

At the same time, the Police and Gendarmerie applied 5.393 contraventional sanctions for non-compliance with isolation/quarantine measures.

Since the entry into force of Military Ordinance no. 3, the police detected 33.484 people who did not comply with the measure regarding traffic restrictions. Contraventional sanctions were applied to them, in the amount of 46.089.939 lei.

Also, on the occasion of the entry formalities into the country, the Border Police drew up 4 criminal files, under the aspect of committing the crime of falsifying statements, an act provided for and punished by art. 326 Criminal Code.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, according to the information obtained by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Romania abroad, up to now, 73 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 52 in Italy, 6 in Germany, 4 in Spain, 2 in Namibia, 2 in Indonesia, 3 in France and one each in Tunisia, Ireland, Great Britain and Luxembourg. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and up to this moment, 12 Romanian citizens abroad, 8 in Italy, 2 in France, one in Germany and one in Great Britain, have died.

Since the entry into force of Military Ordinance no. 2 and until now, 803 people who did not respect the self-isolation period have been placed in institutionalized quarantine. Also, 27 people in quarantine left the location where they were placed, for which the measure of quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days."
