Published by Ministry of Internal Affairs, Romania on Friday, April 3, 2020
The Minister of Health is currently holding a press conference in which he discusses the situation of the Coronavirus in Romania, taking place while the new figures regarding the number of cases and recoveries were published by the authorities in our country.
Unfortunately, the Coronavirus continues to infect Romanians, a situation that of course we expected because it was announced to us by the authorities, but the good part is that more and more Romanians continue to heal and leave the country's hospitals.
They have been registered since yesterday and until today over 400 new cases of infections with the new Coronavirus in Romania, reaching 3183 cases in total, this being the largest increase recorded so far in our country.
"Until today, April 3, on the territory of Romania, 3.183 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Among the people confirmed positive, 283 were declared cured and discharged from hospital units: 126 in Bucharest, 58 in Timiș, 34 in Iași, 5 in Caraș-Severin, 6 in Prahova, 16 in Constanța, 8 in Dolj, 8 in Cluj, 7 in Brașov, 5 in Galati, 2 in Bihor, 2 in Argeș, 2 in Arad, 1 in Brăila, 1 in Mureș, 1 in Neamț, 1 in Alba.
The differences in figures compared to the previous day regarding the cured people from Caraș-Severin and Prahova counties are due to the fact that hospital units in these counties have rectified the previously communicated data.
The number of confirmed cases, by county, according to the reporting of the National Institute of Public Health:
