9.242 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus were officially confirmed until April 21, the Strategic Communication Group announcing the increase compared to yesterday just a few minutes ago, and we are talking about an evolution based on the forecasts made by the authorities .
The number of cures is also increasing, already exceeding the figure of 2000 as of yesterday, and it is continuously increasing, exceeding the percentage of 20% of confirmed cases for a few days, and heading towards 30%, but unfortunately it is increasing and the number of deaths caused by the new Coronavirus.
The number of people in isolation and quarantine is also continuously decreasing because the number of people who entered the country in the last weeks was much lower than usual, and the isolation period of those who arrived at the beginning of the month is starting to expire.
Regarding the observance of the isolation measures imposed by the authorities, the world still does not respect these measures as they should, over 5200 fines have been applied, their value exceeding 12.7 million LEi, so we are still talking about high values.

In the last 24 hours, 341 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.465 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.
By the competent structures of the MAI, 452 criminal files have been drawn up, up to now, under the aspect of committing the crime of thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 para. 1 Criminal Code.
The police and gendarmes detected, in the last 24 hours, 5.271 people who did not comply with the traffic restriction measure. Contraventional sanctions were applied to these persons, in the amount of 12.748.883 lei.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, according to the information obtained by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Romania abroad, 947 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 633 in Italy, 196 in Spain, 26 in France, 14 in Germany, 59 in the UK, 2 in Namibia, 2 in the USA, 3 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and up to this moment, 62 Romanian citizens abroad, 14 in Italy, 15 in France, 19 in Great Britain, 7 in Spain, 3 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden and one in Switzerland, have passed away.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 11 were declared cured: 7 in France, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
