The number of cases of infection with the new Coronavirus is continuously increasing in Romania, no less than 119 new infections have been announced by the authorities in our country, and slowly, slowly, we are moving towards the figure of 20.000 infections confirmed by the authorities.
The number of cures after infection with the new Coronavirus is still increasing, but also around 70%, while the number of people in intensive care is stable, but still quite high.
Today, the lowest daily number of new infections with the new Coronavirus was reported, and this despite the fact that multiple relaxation measures were applied in Romania, and people interact almost the same as before, but we must still be vigilant.
The coronavirus could come back in force at any time in Romania if we are not vigilant, and this should always keep us on guard, because the small number of infections now could turn into a larger one, and implicitly in new restrictions imposed by authority.
"Until today, June 2, on the territory of Romania, 19.517 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 13.526 were declared cured and discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1279 people diagnosed with infection with COVID-19, admitted to hospitals in Dolj, Bucharest, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiș, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomița, Bistrița- Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Vrancea, Galati, Caraș-Severin, Mureș, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeș, Vaslui, Botoșani, Alba, Sălaj, Brașov, Mehedinți, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Calarasi, Maramureș, Olt, Ilfov, Harghita, Tulcea and Buzau, died.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 119 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 166 patients are admitted to the ATI.
On the territory of Romania, there are 2.333 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 90.103 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.
Up to this date, at the national level, 448.813 tests have been processed.
In the last 24 hours, 397 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.604 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 151 contraventional sanctions, worth 105.000 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 5 crimes were detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.
At the same time, on June 1 of this year, 58 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 3.074 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.699 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 583 in Germany, 87 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates , Malta, Brazil and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 106 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 35 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have passed away.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 22 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
