June 4 brought us an alarming increase in the number of new people infected with the new Coronavirus in Romania, the authorities expressing their concern about what is happening in the country, and drawing attention to the fact that we must respect the protective measures imposed.
The number of people cured after infection with the new Coronavirus is still increasing, while the number of people in intensive care is decreasing, but this may also be because lower numbers of new infections have been reported recently.
Unfortunately, we see that there are 196 new cases of infection registered, closer to yesterday's maximum than to the minimum of the past days, which suggests that we still need to be very careful in following the rules.
"Until today, June 5, on the territory of Romania, 20.103 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 14.145 were declared cured and discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1308 people diagnosed with infection with COVID-19, admitted to hospitals in Dolj, Bucharest, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiș, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomița, Bistrița- Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Vrancea, Galati, Caraș-Severin, Mureș, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeș, Vaslui, Botoșani, Alba, Sălaj, Brașov, Mehedinți, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Calarasi, Maramureș, Olt, Ilfov, Harghita, Tulcea and Buzau, died.

At the moment, 152 patients are admitted to the ATI.
On the territory of Romania, there are 2.395 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 95.847 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.
Up to this date, at the national level, 484.782 tests have been processed.
In the last 24 hours, 453 calls were made to the single emergency number 112 and 1.094 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 111 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 155.000 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 4 crimes were detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.
At the same time, on June 4 of this year, 89 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 3.084 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.699 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 583 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates , Malta, Brazil and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 114 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have died.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 22 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
