Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured June 7

The number of cases of infection with the new Coronavirus in Romania continues to remain at a higher level than the one recorded in the week until Wednesday, a sign that the relaxation measures have led to an increase in the number of infections in our country.

The number of cures is also increasing, which of course is good news for everyone, the number of people hospitalized in intensive care also remaining at a constant level below 200, but we still have to be very vigilant.

"Until today, June 7, on the territory of Romania, 20.479 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 14.638 were declared cured and discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1326 people diagnosed with infection with COVID-19, admitted to hospitals in Dolj, Bucharest, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiș, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomița, Bistrița- Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Vrancea, Galati, Caraș-Severin, Mureș, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeș, Vaslui, Botoșani, Alba, Sălaj, Brașov, Mehedinți, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Calarasi, Maramureș, Olt, Ilfov, Harghita, Tulcea and Buzau, died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 189 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 144 patients are admitted to the ATI.

On the territory of Romania, there are 2.468 in institutionalized quarantine  people. Another 94.475 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.

Up to this date, at the national level, 503.200 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 384 calls were made to the single emergency number 112 and 675 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 284 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 175.750 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 2 crimes were detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.

At the same time, on June 6 this year,  71 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 3.304  of Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 617 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey  and one each  in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and up to this moment, 114 Romanian citizens in  abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 28 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
