Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured June 13

The number of new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus continues to be worryingly high, showing us that the most recent relaxations had a negative impact on preventing the infection of citizens, this before other, even more permissive, came into force.

Considering that the daily number of new infections with the new Coronavirus remains at a high level, the number of people cured does not exceed the percentage of 72%, and it is improbable that this will happen again since we see that the situation is not exactly a good one.

"Until today, June 13, on the territory of Romania, 21.679 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 15.635 were declared cured and discharged.

To date, 1394 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

Between 12.06.2020 (10:00) and 13.06.2020 (10:00) 14 deaths (5 men and 9 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Bucharest, Suceava and Vrancea.

Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 3 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 3 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 4 deaths in people over 80 years old.

All deaths are of patients who had comorbidities.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 275 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 171 patients are admitted to the ATI.

On the territory of Romania, there are 2.024 in institutionalized quarantine  people. Another 100.582 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.

Up to this date, at the national level, 552.670 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 430 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.853 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 211 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 114.151 lei.

Also, yesterday, through the competent structures of the Police, a crime was detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.

At the same time, on June 12 of this year, 66 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 3.393  of Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 681 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey  and one each  in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and up to this moment, 114 Romanian citizens in  abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 29 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
