Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured June 23

Unfortunately, the situation of the Coronavirus pandemic in Romania is very far from improving, and this is because more and more infections are announced every day, and the rate of spread of the virus seems a bit uncontrolled at the moment, the authorities trying to convince the population to protect itself.

For some time now, the number of people declared cured does not exceed the number of people confirmed to be infected with the new Coronavirus, and this has also led to an increase in people hospitalized in intensive care, an expected evolution of the whole situation because the daily numbers of infections they are big.

"The National Committee for Emergency Situations has updated the list of states exempted from the application of quarantine/isolation measures as a result of the meeting on June 22. The exception applies from June 23 to asymptomatic persons arriving in Romania from Finland, Italy, Estonia, Ireland and the European territory of France (Metropolitan France). The updated list can be consulted on the website of the National Institute of Public Health.

Until today, June 23, 24.505 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed in Romania. Of the people confirmed positive, 17.187 were declared cured and discharged.

To date, 1.539 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

In the interval 22.06.2020 (10:00) – 23.06.2020 (10:00) 16 deaths (9 men and 7 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brașov, Dâmbovița, Galați, Iasi, Bucharest, Mureș, Suceava and Vrancea.

Of these, 2 deaths were recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 4 death in the age category 60-69 years, 2 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 5 death in a person over 80 years old.

15 of the deaths are of patients who had comorbidities. No comorbidities were reported for 1 death.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 214 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 200 patients are admitted to the ATI.

On the territory of Romania, there are 1.241 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 70.768 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.

Up to this date, at the national level, 639.322 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 466 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 3.018 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 331 contraventional sanctions, worth 149.550 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 5 crimes were detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.

At the same time, on June 22 of this year, 76 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 3.601 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 883 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 6 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia , Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 115 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 7 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 31 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
