COVID-19 Romania: how many positive asymptomatic patients have left the hospital

COVID-19 Romania positive asymptomatic patients discharged from hospital

COVID-19 continues to be an extremely big problem for our country, and this even though the government is thinking about relaxations, but the Minister of Health comes with another important clarification, the number of asymptomatic patients who have been discharged, although they are still infected.

The Ministry of Health says that 887 asymptomatic patients, still positive, were discharged from hospitals 10 days after the confirmation of infection, and they must remain in isolation at home until their tests become negative, regardless of when this will happen.

Last week, the Ministry of Health took the step of discharging asymptomatic patients from the hospital, 10 days after confirming the infection, even if they are still positive, because the risk of infection would be greatly reduced after the antibodies start to fight the virus.

The Ministry of Health started to provide information about these patients this week, and their number is increasing because hospitals have to free up their beds for patients with symptoms of the disease.

"Among the people confirmed positive, 20.432 were discharged, of which 19.545 cured patients and 887 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.

We note that the number of asymptomatic patients has undergone changes compared to the previous day as a result of the updating of data by health facilities in the last 24 hours."
