Yesterday we had an absolute record of new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus, and the authorities intensified their messages asking people to respect the safety measures that were announced repeatedly, and repeatedly, for everyone.

Unfortunately, the number of people declared to be cured after being infected with the new Coronavirus is decreasing, but on the contrary, the number of those admitted to intensive care is increasing, the situation in Romania becoming more and more serious day by day.

"Until today, July 10, on the territory of Romania, 31.381 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 22.812 were discharged, of which 21.129 cured patients and 1.683 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.

To date, 1.847 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

In the interval 09.07.2020/10/00 (10.07.2020:10) – 00/13/8 (5:XNUMX) XNUMX deaths (XNUMX men and XNUMX women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Argeș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brașov, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Ialomița, Bucharest and Tulcea.

Of these, 1 death was fully registered in the age category 30-39 years, 1 death in the age category 50-59 years, 4 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 6 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 1 death in a person over 80 years old.

All deaths are of patients who had comorbidities.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 592 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 236 patients are admitted to the ATI.

Up to this date, at the national level, 824.343 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 475 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.187 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 1.242 contraventional sanctions, worth 202.541 lei.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 5.105 Romanian citizens have been confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 115 in France, 2.275 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain , 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 105 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 3 in Greece and how many one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 122 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have passed away.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 72 were declared cured: 50 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
