Ministry of Health: the number of asymptomatic patients discharged from hospitals

Ministry of Health, number of asymptomatic patients discharged from hospitals

The Ministry of Health published today a new figure regarding the number of asymptomatic people, but still infected with the new Coronavirus, who were discharged from hospitals, all based on a ministerial order that was given at the end of last month by the authorities.

The Ministry of Health tells us that 1.683 asymptomatic people were discharged 10 days after detection, the number increasing daily, but it does not take into account the people who are still symptomatic and were discharged on request, or the asymptomatic ones discharged earlier.

The Ministry of Health does not present in its daily reports the number of infected people who were discharged even though they still have symptoms, or were not detected for a long time, and this figure would have been very useful to know exactly what is happening in our country.

"Until today, July 10, on the territory of Romania, 31.381 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 22.812 were discharged, including 21.129 cured patients and 1.683 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection."
