Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured July 14

Isolated Romania continues to report new high numbers of infections with the new Coronavirus, and this before the state of alert is extended and some areas are possibly quarantined to stop the uncontrolled spread, which has been necessary for some time .

Considering that the number of people hospitalized in intensive care remains high, the number of those declared cured is small, and some hospitals remain without ATI places, the situation of the Coronavirus pandemic in Romania is as serious as it can be right now.

"Until today, July 14, on the territory of Romania, 33.585 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 23.798 were discharged, of which 21.803 cured patients and 1.995 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.

At the same time, up to now, 658 patients with a positive test have been discharged upon request.

The number of confirmed cases, by county, according to the reporting of the National Institute of Public Health:

To date, 1.931 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.

Between 13.07.2020 (10:00) - 14.07.2020 (10:00) 30 deaths (13 men and 17 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Argeș, Bacău, Bistrita- Năsăud, Brăila, Brașov, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Galați, Ialomița, Maramureș, Bucharest, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș and Vâlcea.

Of these, 1 death was fully registered in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 11 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 10 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 5 deaths in people over 80 years old.

All deaths are of patients who had comorbidities.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 637 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 234 patients are admitted to the ATI.

Up to this date, at the national level, 868.478 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 464 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.936 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 1.066 contraventional sanctions, worth 184.222 lei.

We remind citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs operationalized, starting on 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection rules can be reported.

The calls are taken by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for verification of the reported aspects.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 5.108 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 115 in France, 2.275 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain , 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 105 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 5 in Greece and how many one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 122 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have passed away.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 157 were declared cured: 135 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
