Coronavirus Romania: 37.458 Cases, Recoveries Announced on July 19, 2020

Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured July 19

After a new record of cases of Coronavirus registered yesterday in Romania, 889, today we have a slightly more moderate report, and this is normal because fewer tests were done, because we are on the weekend, so not all the laboratories work.

The Coronavirus pandemic affects Romania throughout its territory, the cases being spread in all the counties, and this mainly because people are tested to go on vacation, many asymptomatic ones being detected as positive.

The number of people declared cured is still much lower than those confirmed as infected, and the number of those in intensive care is increasing so much that mobile hospitals and modular hospitals have started to be set up.

Coronavirus Romania situation July 19

The Prime Minister of Romania, Ludovic Orban, declared that the effects of the period in which there was no legislation in Romania requiring hospitalization in case of infection are still not visible, so we must expect a much worse situation than the one of now.

"Until today, July 19, on the territory of Romania, 37.458 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 25.042 were discharged, of which 22.617 cured patients and 2.425 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.
