Coronavirus Romania: 42.394 New Cases Announced on July 24, 2020

Coronavirus Romania New cases July 24

With over 1000 new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus in the last two days, Romania is heading for a possible health disaster because the protection rules are not respected, and the authorities seem completely overwhelmed by the situation at the moment.

The cases of Coronavirus will increase substantially in the next two weeks, this being one of the warnings made by the Ministry of Health, and this is perfectly normal since people refuse to comply with the protection rules with a logic that is difficult to understand.

1119 new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus is today's record number, with only 7 more cases than yesterday, but slightly fewer tests were done, with a few thousand, so it was expected that it would not be exceeded by much the number of cases.

Unfortunately, for the first time the figure of 300 people admitted to intensive care was exceeded, which represents a very big problem, and this is because the number is somewhere around a quarter of the total number of beds dedicated to ATI for this disease.

"Until today, July 24, on the territory of Romania, 42.394 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

25.349 patients were declared cured and 2.918 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.119 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.
