Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures Announced on July 28, 2020

Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured July 28

Yesterday was a day with an extremely worrying number of new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus, and not through the large number of confirmations, but through the lens of the fact that the number of infections compared to the number of tests brought us a percentage of 15% of positivity, the highest since March and until now.

This record was seconded by a record number of Romanians hospitalized in intensive care due to the new Coronavirus, 353 people needing specialized help from doctors, and the number will increase in tandem with the number of infections in the coming weeks.

Now we expect that this week we will exceed 2000 new cases announced daily, and if the positivity rate is maintained, we will definitely reach the figure, and then the condition will be fulfilled for the state of emergency to be reimposed in our country.

"Until today, July 28, on the territory of Romania, 47.053 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

26.128 patients were declared cured and 3.716 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.151 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
