Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Recoveries Announced on August 2, 2020

Coronavirus Romania Cases Healing August 2

This week brought us no records of infections with the new Coronavirus, but also records of people hospitalized in intensive care, the situation becoming more and more serious throughout the country, something we have been warned about for a very long time already.

In the next two weeks we expect constant increases in the number of new cases of infection in Romania, which will be a very serious problem, but the authorities keep saying that they are prepared, so it remains to be seen if the situation is really like this.

Yesterday the Romanian Government introduced new restrictions to further reduce the rate of spread of the Coronavirus, but it is hard to say if they will be successful, and how long it will take until we see the first effects of these important changes.

"Until today, August 2, on the territory of Romania, 53.186 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

27.592 patients were declared cured and 4.777 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1.075 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
