The Ministry of Health announced today a new record in terms of deaths due to the new Coronavirus, the authorities confirming that the situation in the country is getting worse, with no less than 53 people losing their lives due to the new virus.
The Ministry of Health presents below the list of counties with the most infections reported in the last 24 hours, and we are talking about a very problematic situation for the whole country, with many new cases announced in counties where there were big problems before.
"In the interval 12.08.2020 (10:00) - 13.08.2020 (10:00) 53 deaths (32 men and 21 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Botoșani, Brăila, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest municipality.
Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 30-39 years, 1 death in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 13 deaths in the age category 60-69 years , 24 deaths in the 70-79 age category and 11 deaths in the over 80 age category.
49 of the registered deaths are of patients who had co-morbidities, and 4 patients who died did not have co-morbidities."
