Sony has officially confirmed the sale prices in Romania, the new console being listed including for pre-order at some stores in our country, with quite a lot of interest from customers.
"Bucharest, September 17, 2020 – Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced the release date and pricing details for the highly anticipated PlayStation®5 console. SIE also showcased new titles that add to the PS5™ portfolio, including Final Fantasy XVI, Fortnite, Hogwarts Legacy and a new title God of War.
The PS5 console will launch on November 12 in seven key markets: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea. The global launch will continue on November 19, when the console will be available in other regions*, including Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia and South Africa. The PS5 Digital Edition will be available at a suggested retail price of 1.999,99 lei, and the PS5 console with Blu-ray™ Ultra-HD optical drive will be available for purchase at a suggested retail price of 2.499,99 lei.
Both PS5 models will use the same dedicated system that integrates both CPU and GPU for high-fidelity graphics, up to 4K resolution, but also the same ultra-fast SSD with integrated I/O (input/output) that will deliver extremely fast loading fast. Both PS5 models also offer a deeper immersive experience thanks to the DualSense wireless controller and 3D audio capabilities, so gamers can enjoy the same transformative gaming experiences regardless of which version of PS5 they choose.

To its portfolio of games, SIE has revealed that it will be adding a number of new titles that will be available on PS5, including:
- Devil May Cry 5™ Special Edition (Capcom)
- Final Fantasy XVI (SquareEnix)

- Hogwarts legacy (Warner Bros. Games)
- A new God of War title (Santa Monica Studio)
With titles like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Demon's Souls, the range of unique gaming experiences that will be available on the PS5 console represents the best selection in PlayStation history. The exclusive SIE Worldwide Studios games will have recommended prices starting from 299 lei to 399 lei (recommended price).
To support the PlayStation®4 community in the transition to the next generation, when they are ready, SIE will release PS4™ versions of several exclusive titles: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure and Horizon forbidden west. These games have been designed so that users can enjoy the latest features of the PS5 console, such as the ultra-fast SSD and DualSense controller, but PS4 owners will also be able to enjoy these experiences at launch. The digital versions of the games released for PS4 include a free upgrade for both PS5 consoles, and the PS4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade for the PS5 console with Blu-Ray Ultra HD optical drive.
In addition, SIE also announced the PlayStation Plus Collection**, a range of generation-defining PS4 games that will be available for PS Plus members to download and experience on their PS5 console. The PS Plus collection includes highly rated games such as Batman™ Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Persona 5 and more.
SIE also announced the price for the following accessories, which will be launched alongside the PS5 console:
- Wirelss DualSense™ controller (individual) – 349,99 lei (recommended retail price)
- Wireless headphones with microphone PULSE 3D™ - with 3D audio support and microphones with dual noise-cancelling technology - 499,99 lei (recommended retail price)
- HD camera – with dual lens 1080p so gamers can stream during epic gameplay moments – 299,99 lei (recommended retail price)
- Media remote control - to easily navigate through movies and streaming services - 149,99 lei (recommended retail price)
- DualSense™ Charging Station – to charge two DualSense wireless controllers simultaneously – 149,99 lei (recommended retail price)
