Coronavirus: IMPORTANT announcement regarding the Vaccine bought by the EU

Coronavirus Announcement of the vaccine purchased by the EU

The coronavirus continues to cause very big problems all over the world, not only in Romania, or in the European Union, and more than likely you have seen various publications from abroad that show how serious everything has become, but a vaccine is about to arrive in many countries around the world.

The European Commission signed today a contract for the purchase of 300 million doses of a vaccine produced by two pharmaceutical companies, it having an efficiency of 90% against infection with the new Coronavirus, and for this large number of doses a substantial amount.

It is not known exactly the amount paid by the European Commission for each dose of the vaccine for the Coronavirus, but it is somewhere between 15 and 19 dollars, the price being, apparently, lower than the one paid by the USA, also because these companies have received funding from the EU to develop it.

The vaccine against the Coronavirus will be distributed from December/January, and the employees in the medical field, and the people with the highest degree of risk, will be vaccinated first.

The European Union has struck a deal to initially pay less for Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine candidate than the United States, as the bloc announced on Wednesday that it had secured a deal for up to 300 million doses. The block will pay less than $19,50 per shot, which partly reflects the financial support provided by the EU and Germany for the drug's development.”
