Android: THE HUGE PROBLEM THAT MANY USERS DON'T KNOW ABOUT

Android has a very big problem that not many people know about at the moment, but one that you should know about right now.

Total Android

Android it is the most used operating system for mobile phones in the whole world, billions of mobile phones and tablets have it installed at the moment, but many of the people who use them do not know about a very big problem. More precisely, Google has implemented a special technology in Android for some time that aims to improve the means of communication that users from all over the world benefit from.

Android has implemented a technology called RCS, which offers the possibility to send messages to other people using the Google Messages application, but with approximately the same functionality as in the case of some messaging applications. Google wanted to offer with RCS an alternative to iMessage, the messaging platform so popular among iPhone and iPad users, but in the case of Android, an essential component of the system is missing.

Android: THE HUGE PROBLEM THAT MANY USERS DON'T KNOW ABOUT

Android total encryption rcs

Android has not implemented a system of total encryption of user conversations, as is the case with iOS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Signal, so that any kind of communication made through RCS can be intercepted. Considering that the messages sent through the RCS technology in Android need the Internet, if users use a free WiFi hotspot, for example, it is very possible to have the messages intercepted by anyone monitoring that Internet traffic.

Android it will have a system of total encryption of conversations implemented by Google, the company is already working on this, but it will take time for everything to be implemented as it should be for users. Google did not say when exactly it is going to complete the procedure by which it will implement this RCS messaging protection system for the Android operating system, but it is more than certain that we will not have long to wait after it.

Android already has support for RCS technology implemented by many telecommunications operators in many areas around the globe, so it is clear that Google will try to complete the whole process as quickly as possible.
