The Ministry of Health has published a new information regarding the situation of the Coronavirus in Romania, the authorities confirming the fact that we are recording a new record of patients hospitalized in intensive care, unfortunately, records of this kind seem to be announced daily.
The Ministry of Health announces that the number of people hospitalized in intensive care has increased by one person, but unfortunately any kind of increase is important, and this is because the pressure on the medical system is increasing every day.
"In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13.261. Of these, 1.251 are hospitalized at ATI.
Up to this date, at the national level, 4.107.567 tests have been processed. Of these, 9.785 were performed in the last 24 hours, 7.039 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 2.747 on request.
On the territory of Romania, 47.982 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 12.097 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 68.464 people are in home quarantine, and 65 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
