Facebook: the very SERIOUS PROBLEM due to the European Commission

facebook the european commission problem

Facebook has a new very serious problem due to the European Commission, the American company having blocked a series of important functions for Messenger due to the new legislation on data security, and this somewhat overwhelmed the management of the American company.

Facebook tried to convince companies in Europe to use Messenger to get in touch with customers who buy their products, but European data protection legislation blocked some of these important functions prepared by the Americans.

Facebook will no longer be able to allow companies to send various files with customer information through Messenger, nor video clips, being forced to send data of this kind only by email, and this complicates their operating methods quite a bit.

"As part of our efforts to comply with the new privacy rules in Europe, we are making updates that will impact some developers and companies that use our Messenger API. Starting December 16, several Messenger APIs will be unavailable to developers and businesses in Europe, and to people in Europe connecting with businesses globally. Given the impacts listed above, we recommend that you provide an alternative experience using quick replies, text, and inline URLs for web views for the affected scenarios.”
