According to some information that appeared today, it is expected that the iPhone 14 will be launched by Apple with a new camera that has an optical zoom of up to 10X, this will be produced by those from Samsung, a traditional partner of the American company.
The iPhone 14 will come with several components manufactured by Samsung, from the screen to the storage media, so the partnership between the two companies could be extended even more than it has been until now.
On the other hand, other changes are expected for the iPhone 14, one of the most important being the removal of the cutout from the screen, and the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor under the screen, or in a button, as is already the case with some of the models Apple phones.
“Apple may use components made by Samsung Electro-Mechanics for the folding zoom camera on iPhones to be released in 2022. Samsung Electro-Mechanics will supply components such as actuators and lenses to LG InnoTek, a long-time module supplier camera for Cupertino. LG will use them to create the folding zoom camera module to supply to Apple. The folded zoom camera is a type of telephoto camera where the light absorbed by the image sensor is bent or folded to allow the cameras to become thinner. This helps to minimize camera protrusion in smartphones. Fold zoom technology is required for optical zooms above 3x.”
The iPhone 14 should be released in the fall of 2022, but not earlier than that point, so we will have to be quite patient until everything is revealed by rumors, in a first phase, and then by Apple company.
