The Ministry of Health continues to update the data regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, and has provided a series of new information regarding the number of people who have been cured after infection, of those who are in quarantine, or in isolation.
The Ministry of Health updates these data daily due to the very large number of infections that are confirmed every day, but also those of people who are forced to enter quarantine or isolation because they are contacts of people confirmed to be infected.
"Until today, December 8, on the territory of Romania, 524.675 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. 416.797 patients were declared cured.
On the territory of Romania, 42.582 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 11.957 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 66.867 people are in home quarantine, and 128 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
