“January 11, 2021 — The personal computer has never been more important, so this year at CES 2021 HP Inc. launches essential innovations for people's way of working and living. HP introduces new devices and solutions designed to support hybrid working and the widespread use of personal creative studios.
Globally, more than half of the workforce is still working from home due to the pandemic, and so the PC has new uses for consumers and employees who work from home. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the time spent in front of the computer increased by seven hours per week. In some cases, this shift has led to increased day-to-day creativity – taking photos, writing stories or articles, and live streaming are the top three consumer activities.
But, working from home is not always a simple task, given that only 30% of people have a special room dedicated to the office. However, 72% of those who work from home want a hybrid way of working in the future and 48% of Gen Z representatives consider expanding their freelance activities in the future, looking for better solutions for collaboration and providing micro -mobility.

The way and place in which we work imposes the need for technologies that facilitate collaboration and productivity. The ability to work together, despite the distance, has never been more important.
