Benefito Mobile is a virtual mobile phone operator, MNVO, which will launch its services in Romania during 2021, and will come with a series of very interesting news on a market now dominated by four big giants.
Benefito Mobile will use the Telekom network to offer its services in Romania, this is not the first time something like this has happened, a few years ago a different MNVO, FROG, used the Cosmote network for a similar service, which disappeared in the meantime.
"Bucharest, January 21, 2021: Benefito Mobile, mobile virtual operator (MVNO), targets 150.000 euros on SeedBlink, the largest crowdfunding platform for tech companies from Southeast Europe. The listing of Benefito Mobile, a service launched by two of the most reputable specialists in Romanian telecom, will take place on Tuesday, January 26.
In exchange for this financing, Benefito Mobile's founders will sell 10.000 shares representing 5,3% of the capital.
The investment will finance the launch in the second quarter of 2021 of the first prepaid card in Romania through which customers receive mobile credit when purchasing products and services.
Powerful differentiator for online and offline retailers
The Benefito Mobile card represents a first for the telecom and retail sectors in Romania in the context where, in order to attract and retain their customers, most retailers use classic programs (cards with accumulation of points or discounts on products with a short validity period) which are little useful to customers. Through the Benefito Mobile card, online and offline retailers will be able to offer a real benefit, appreciated by customers, such as top-up mobile phone credit. Free credit ends up being a reward for customer loyalty, so people who shop more often and more from partner retailers get more bang for their buck
spend.
Benefito Mobile collaborates with Bonusway and Cashback World, international cash back platforms that have partnerships with hundreds of retailers.
Another differentiator for the Romanian market is the pricing method, which is in lei and not in euros.

Benefito Mobile is a brand owned by Goil Services Romania SA, a company established in April 2018 whose shareholders are Goil Power SRL Italia (majority shareholder), Marian Velicu and Marius Ionescu, two of the most reputable specialists in Romanian telecom, with experience of 40 and 30 years respectively in the field. Together they own about 36% of the company. In fact, the two launched Veridian together in 2012 – the first virtual mobile operator in Romania of the Mobile Virtual Network Enabler / Virtual Network Aggregator type.
Mobile virtual operators (MVNOs) do not own their own mobile network, using the infrastructure of a traditional mobile operator. Benefito Mobile uses the Telekom Romania Mobile Communications network, through Veridian, which is connected to the Telekom Romania Mobile network as an MVNO Aggregator (MVNA).

The launch of Benefito Mobile comes in the context where virtual mobile operators have been developing for over ten years in Western Europe, representing, depending on the country, between 10% and 40% of the number of mobile phone users.
Stock return: 400% in five years. Increase in company value: 10 times in five years
"We believe that Benefito Mobile will be a success due to the novelty (free credit based on purchases in retail) and its attractiveness in terms of price. Also, the service comes with a model of very profitable business, the return on shares reaching 400% in five years. Thus, we estimate that we will break even after the first six months, when we will have approximately 10.000 users, and after 18 months, the business will be profitable. We expect the value of the company to grow from 2,7 million euros at the time of listing on SeedBlink to approximately 28 million euros in five years", adds Marian Velicu.
Benefito Mobile's management aims to achieve a 2-3% share of the mobile phone market by the end of 2025.
Also, the co-founders of Benefito Mobile predict that the business will register a turnover of 700.000 euros this year. In five years, revenues could reach 15 million euros per year and a gross profit of around 5,6 million euros.”
