GMAIL is the largest email platform on the whole planet, it is used by a very large number of users, but all of them have imposed an obligation by Google, one that if they don't respect, they risk being left without access to a series of functions from the platform.
GMAIL has announced to users all over the world that until today, January 25, they must accept the new terms and conditions of use of the platform, otherwise they risk having a series of important functions disabled because they need access to certain data from user accounts.
GMAIL gave people a period of time to decide whether they wanted to give Google access to that data so that the special features would continue to work, but starting tomorrow they will disappear for those who didn't opt-in. .
GMAIL asks users to access certain data from emails in order to offer them the following special functions:
- Automatic Email Filtering / Categorization (Main / Social / Promotions)
- Smart compose and smart reply in emails
- Summary cards above your email (parcel tracking, travel, etc.)
- Extract event details to create calendar entries
Assistant reminder of your due bills - Maps showing restaurant reservations
- Travel using your itineraries.
- Display of loyalty cards in Google Pay
GMAIL should allow the acceptance of the platform's terms and conditions of use even after January 25 so that these functions can be used again.
