Raed Arafat: Alcohol consumption would not be a contraindication for vaccination

Raed Arafat alcohol vaccination coronavirus

Today, Raed Arafat offered an answer to a question that seems to be bothering some Romanians, more precisely whether vaccination of people who consume alcohol is contraindicated, and it seems that there would be no problem from this point of view.

Raed Arafat says that he does not know of any contraindication regarding alcohol, but of course it is good to avoid consumption for a period of time after each dose, although theoretically there should not be any impact on Romanians who consume alcohol.

"So I have not seen a contraindication of this kind. Clearly, alcohol also affects the immune system, and also in a negative way, but I have not seen a scientific contraindication, which tells you that if you have consumed, you cannot be vaccinated. I haven't seen anything like it. We have to see if such a thing is found or if it is just folklore. I think it's more folklore."
