Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from January 31, 2021

Coronavirus Romania New Cases Cured January 31

The Coronavirus pandemic has reached a plateau in Romania, and this means that we are talking about a stabilization of the number of new cases around 2500-3000, and this in the conditions where some of the restrictions have started to be lifted, and the world is taking advantage of to stay.

The number of deaths and people in intensive care have decreased in recent weeks, but considering that people are starting to go to restaurants, bars, etc. again, it is expected that the number of cases will explode in a week or two.

Vaccination continues at a constant pace, but this is only because there are still some doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus, but after they are used, it is possible that new appointments will be postponed, as was announced just the other day.

"Until today, January 31, on the territory of Romania, 728.743 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:
