Coronavirus Romania: New Cases, Cures from February 10, 2021

Coronavirus Romania New Cases Cured February 10

The situation of the Coronavirus pandemic remains stable in Romania during this period, even if school has started, and this is because possible increases after the resumption of classes in physical format will only be seen at least 2 weeks from February 8.

We still have reductions in daily deaths, and in people hospitalized in intensive care, and this is all because in recent weeks there have been few new cases of infection, and if the situation does not change, we should not see any increases here.

The vaccination campaign is still decreasing, and this is because there are not enough doses, but theoretically, 180 more vaccination centers are opening tomorrow, and the rate should increase again, to tens of thousands persons vaccinated with the first dose.

"Until today, February 10, on the territory of Romania, 752.482 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.

698.534 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 3.048 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.

*Regarding the "new cases not allocated by county", we specify that their number is determined by the changes made to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, following which the epidemiological investigation is carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and the positive cases are assigned to the county/locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of cumulative infections per 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Below you have the graph made based on the reports received by the CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:
