Raed Arafat Pressure Pandemic Coronavirus

Raed Arafat spoke in an interview about the greatest pressure felt during the Corona virus pandemic that has engulfed all of Romania, and unfortunately a lot of people are still affected by what is happening throughout the country.

Raed Arafat talks below about what the Coronavirus pandemic meant in Romania, and how great the pressure was on everyone in the medical system, and although things are calmer now, big problems can come back at any time.

"The moments when we reached the stage where we saw that we had to take a sick person somewhere and we couldn't find a place, and we had to pray to find places for the sick person; the times we had, we wanted to send the patient, but the weather did not allow us to do it by helicopter, and we knew that the patient needed immediate support. These are all moments of pressure that were.

I was called by fellow doctors, I was called by families, I was called by relatives - people were crying: "Find a solution, please!", "Why don't you take him to Bucharest?" Everyone wanted to go to Bucharest, to Bucharest. We wanted to find places for those who had no place in Bucharest to take them elsewhere!"
