DIGI Mobile now offers customers in Romania speeds of up to 100 Mbps through its networks, although in reality they are about 5 times lower, in the best of cases, but the 5G network will change everything. Thanks to this infrastructure, those from DIGI Mobil will be able to offer Romanian clients access to a high-speed network capable of offering speeds of hundreds of Mbps, which was also confirmed by the first tests carried out by those who had access to it.
DIGI Mobile is able to make the necessary investments for this 5G network to be transformed into a national one and extended to many more locations than is currently available. The jump from current speeds to 5G will be enough to please anyone, and that's because we're talking about speeds similar to those obtained in the case of fixed networks, and DIGI Mobil has the ability to offer customers much more than they hoped for.
DIGI Mobile has been waiting for more than a year after the auction for 5G frequencies, just like the other important operators in Romania, and the authorities seem ready to do it because they need hundreds of millions of euros from the operators.
