Raed Arafat: How many Romanians were treated at the ATI Mobile Units

Raed Arafat Romani Tratati Mobile Units ATI

Raed Arafat revealed for the whole of Romania how many people have been treated so far in the mobile intensive therapy units that have been placed in the premises of some hospitals in Romania, and we are basically talking about the trucks transformed into units of this kind.

Raed Arafat says that until now 650 Romanians have been treated in the mobile intensive care units, but unfortunately the numbers continue to grow because the number of cases has been increasing non-stop for some time, so the situation is getting worse, unfortunately for us .

"Mobile intensive care units continue to be used to supplement the capacity of intensive care beds that are overloaded during this period. Two such units operate in Bucharest, one since last year at the Marius Nasta Institute, and the second recently operationalized at the St. Ioan Emergency Hospital. The doctors who serve them come from among the doctors seconded from other counties to ensure the support of their colleagues in Bucharest. In the following days, the one attached to the Victor Babes Hospital in the capital will also be operational.

Another unit was sent to Iasi to be operationalized there and the one that served Timisoara is to be relocated to Piatra Neamt, at the request of the authorities from the respective county.

Thank you to those who made this project a reality! More than 650 patients have already been treated in these units and unfortunately this number continues to grow. At the same time, I want to emphasize the fact that the logistical support for such units to be functional is provided by the IGSU structures."
