State of Alert Extended by the Romanian Government for Another 30 Days

The Romanian government decided this evening to extend the state of alert for another 30 days in Romania, and below you can see the decisions that were adopted as part of the decision that will be published in the Official Gazette in the following days.

The Romanian Government has also adopted the measures proposed by the Prime Minister to the CNSU, i.e. the possibility that on the night of Easter you can move around freely until 05:00 in the morning, and that shops are open until 20:00 throughout the country in Big Friday.

"Art.1 - It is proposed to extend the state of alert throughout the national territory, for a period of 30 days, starting on 13.04.2021.

Art.2 – The measures to prevent and control infections caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which must be adopted starting from 13.04.2021, in the current epidemiological context, are provided in annex no.1.

Art.3 - The list of countries / areas / territories of high epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is established on the persons arriving in Romania from them, provided in annex no. 2.

Art.4 – Annex to Decision no. 9 of 11.02.2021 of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, amended by Decision no. 21 of 02.04.2021, is amended and replaced by the list provided in annex no. 2.

Art.5 – This decision is communicated to all the components of the National Emergency Management System, for implementation through orders and administrative acts of their leaders."
