Almost 10 MILLION Doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine Received by Romania

Almost 10 million doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine have been received by Romania so far, an impressive figure that shows us that despite the problems at the beginning of the year, the pharmaceutical companies still managed to maintain a constant production, and grow.

Romania used two-thirds of these doses to immunize the Romanians, and over 3 million are in storage spaces to be used, or most likely to be sold at some point since the intention to vaccinate is very low during this period .

"The doses will be delivered to our country in two installments, so one part will arrive at Otopeni airport on Monday, and at Cluj-Napoca airport on Tuesday.

Transport to the storage centers is provided by the production company, including by land. Vaccines are transported in optimal safety conditions, in special containers, with carbonic ice and airtight foil.

Thus, the vaccination process continues both in the centers in Bucharest and in the country, the doses being distributed as follows:

Up to this moment, our country has received 9.968.849 doses of the vaccine produced by the Pfizer company, and 6.774.826 have already been used to immunize the population.

In the vaccination centers, the doses are distributed according to the requests sent to the National Center and the regional storage centers, through the county and Bucharest public health departments."
